Senior QA Engineer

Full Time • Bloomington, MN

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Quality team. Quality is our top priority throughout the organization and in order to succeed we need people who are excited and experienced with all aspects of quality, including Automation, Manual and Performance Testing.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain automation suite using Selenium
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual/automated test cases for functional, acceptance, integration, and regression testing
  • Monitor and communicate application performance
  • Communicate testing priorities and risks
  • Lead, mentor and coach other QA within the organization
  • Identify, document, and maintain defects
  • Review scope and designs while participating in meaningful collaboration sessions
  • Collaborate with development counterparts to resolve testing issues and understand technical changes
  • Analyze, clarify and identify gaps in requirements/stories
  • Be an active participant in test case reviews
  • Raise test concerns quickly and accurately
  • Other duties may be assigned

Who you are:

  • You are eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship 
  • You have your BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • You have 5 years of experience in test automation design, development and implementation in web and/or mobile applications; Selenium, JMeter and Postman Preferred
  • You have 5 years of experience with programming in Java and scripting languages such as JavaScript
  • You have 5 years manual testing experience
  • You have 5 years in basic SQL query development experience
  • You have worked in a Scrum environment
  • You think strategically and implement process improvement
  • You have strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • You are self-directed, detail-oriented, innovative problem solver
  • You are goal oriented and passionate about your work
  • You have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Scrum
  • You thrive in creating and working in a team environment, as well as independently

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 5 years of software QA experience with emphasis on Automation and Web Services/API testing
  • Experience mentoring QA team members on automation best practices
  • Experience with Selenium development using Java or like language
  • Experience continuous integration systems; Jenkins experience preferred
  • Experience with Performance and Load testing; JMeter experience preferred
  • Experience in API testing using Postman
  • Experience working within a CI/CD process
