QA Analyst

We have an exciting opening for a Quality Assurance Analyst.  In this role, you would ensure our quality of product by creating, executing and maintaining automated and manual tests.

 Automation is our first priority. We want somebody who is excited about and familiar with automation, but we also need someone with manual testing experience with that creative mindset of how to break something.

As a team, we have tested and deployed many features for our cutting-edge products and are excited for what’s ahead of us. Right now, we are moving towards giving our clients a single logon across our product offerings as well as other integrations that dramatically increase our product’s reach.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, implement, and ensure maintenance of automation program
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual/automated test cases for functional, acceptance, integration, and regression testing
  • Communicate testing priorities, status of defects, risks and test coverage
  • Identify, document, and maintain defects
  • Work closely with Scrum team to understand the story objectives
  • Review designs and participate in meaningful collaboration sessions in determining scope for new projects
  • Collaborate with development counterparts to resolve testing issues and understand technical changes
  • Analyze, clarify and identify gaps in requirements/stories
  • Participate and present in test case reviews
  • Raise test concerns quickly and accurately
  • Attendance and participation in team meetings
  • Other duties may be assigned

Who you are:

  • You are eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship 
  • You have your BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • You have 2 years’ experience designing, building, and executing test automation cases/plans (using systems like JMeter or Postman)
  • You have 2 years’ experience in test automation development and implementation in web and/or mobile applications; Selenium Preferred
  • You have 2 years’ experience with programming in Java and scripting languages such as JavaScript
  • You have 1 years manual testing experience
  • You have worked in an Agile environment
  • You are able to write basic select queries in SQL
  • You have strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • You are self-directed, detail-oriented, innovative problem solver
  • You are goal oriented and passionate about your work
  • You are organized and have a knack to notice things that are wrong
  • You have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Scrum
  • You thrive in creating and working in a team environment, as well as independently
  • You are able to commute to and work in an office environment

Preferred Experience:

  • TestRail and JIRA as we use those
  • Working within a CI/CD process
