What you’ll be doing:

As a Scrum Master, you will help support and promote the scrum practice by helping our employees and stakeholders understand scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.  You will be a part of our Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant ecommerce platform team and guide the teams on self-organization.  You will lead 2-3 scrum development teams currently operating within the Agile framework.  This includes teams that are less mature, allowing for and promoting growth for the teams to become more mature.  

You will work with other Scrum Masters to improve effectiveness of the application of scrum within the organization and drive change that increases productivity within the teams. A primary responsibility of this role includes leading scrum events, from daily scrum to sprint retrospective, ensuring the teams are adhering to the rules of scrum and focusing on the sprint goal. 

Who you are:

  • You are a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
  • Your degree is a BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • You have your Scrum Master Certification or equivalent training; PMP certification is a plus
  • You have 2 years of demonstrated experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team
  • You have strong knowledge of Agile methodology and software development best practices and principles
  • You can show a proven track record of building motivated, collaborative, and productive teams by creating autonomy, mastery, and purpose
  • You have strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • You are self-directed, detail oriented, creative problem solver
  • You are flexible to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and priorities
  • You must have strong multi-tasking skills
  • You are able to work with people with varying personalities
