SUMMARY

The Senior Cash Management Analyst is a member of the Revenue Operations team within the Finance department and is responsible for cash management, treasury, accounting, and daily processing functions. Responsible for reconciling cash accounts, including credit card and ACH processing, on a daily basis and recording activity in the accounting system. Investigating and handling credit card and ACH processing differences and returns. Sending settlement/funding files to the banks for all Vanco companies, including international subsidiaries.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Update check registers/reconcile bank accounts and record activity in the accounting system on a daily basis.
  • Investigate and resolve missing and unreconciled credit card transactions and manage client returns, notification of change (NOC), and support requests on a daily basis.
  • Manage daily cash movements, including submission of client funding files to processing banks, direct client transfers, and internal corporate transfers.
  • Monitor and reconcile cash received for credit card/ACH and bill pay products.
  • Assist with month-end close procedures, including account reconciliations, client statements, and invoicing.
  • Assist Director – Cash Management and other Revenue Operations team members in process improvements, risk mitigation, and ad-hoc projects. Aid in the conversion of newly acquired entities into existing applications and processes.
  • Works in conjunction with various departments to create, test, implement and monitor changes or modifications to cash management and account analysis applications.
  • Becomes the subject matter expert on cash management products by understanding the relationship between the company products and the core applications from beginning (data origination) to the end (reports/statements) of the process.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

  • BS/ BA in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
  • The required skills, knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.
  • Credit Card and ACH processing experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Demonstrated understanding of how various cash-management applications function and how they communicate with one another.
  • Strong written/verbal communications skills.
  • Must remain flexible in a demanding work environment, with frequent requirements to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and meet multiple priorities and time commitments.
  • Self-motivated, excellent work ethic, problem solver, highly accountable, and detail oriented.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a desire to improve processes and take on additional responsibilities.
